Key Responsibilities
  • BIM Modeling: Develop and maintain highly accurate 3D BIM models for domestic water supply, drainage, storm water, and irrigation systems using Autodesk Revit. [ 1 ]
  • Coordination & Clash Detection: Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural teams. Utilize clash detection software (such as Navisworks) to identify and resolve spatial conflicts prior to installation. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
  • Drawing Production: Generate coordinated shop drawings, spool drawings, isometric layouts, and as-built documentation directly from the models. [ 1 , 2 ]
  • Model Management: Ensure all plumbing models adhere to the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), naming conventions, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
  • Site Support: Assist site engineers and project managers by interpreting technical drawings and incorporating site modifications or design changes into the model. [ 1 , 2 , 3 ]
  • Quantity Take-offs: Extract accurate material schedules, quantities, and BOQs for procurement and estimation. [ 1 , 2 ]
