Karbon is seeking a Mid-Level Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Sydney onsite team to design and ship web applications in an agile environment. You’ll build and maintain features focused on reliability, performance and user experience, balance speed with quality, and use data to inform decisions. Core tech: C# and .NET (MVC Web API .NET Core), TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL Server, Azure; frontend Ember and React. You’ll work autonomously, own your outcomes, and thoughtfully apply AI tools while collaborating with engineers and QA. Engineers are expected to balance delivery speed with a strong commitment to quality, meeting agreed timelines while producing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested solutions. Sound judgment in making trade-offs between velocity and long-term sustainability is essential.

Engineering is collaborative by default. Team members are expected to contribute constructively in design discussions, reviews, and planning, communicate clearly about progress and risks, and support shared team outcomes in both hybrid and distributed environments.
