The Legal Aid Society is hiring a Gable Filler Operator for a full-time, onsite role in Cedar City, UT. You will operate, test and clean automated high speed carton filling machines and high-volume bag in the box lines, while multitasking to monitor quality, weights and codes and keep simple records. Expect repetitive lifting up to 60 lbs and shifts that may run up to 12 hours. The position requires self motivation, attention to detail and schedule flexibility, plus strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. General job duties:

This individual will be responsible for operating, testing, and cleaning automated, high speed carton filling machines. They will also operate and clean high-volume bag in the box machines.

Must be able to perform more than one task at a time which will include: operating, adjusting and monitoring the machine’s and product for quality and quantity, also verify proper weights and codes of the products being produced. Some record keeping is involved. There will be repetitive lifting of bags and boxes of which weigh up to 60 lbs. The shift may last up to 12 hrs. Must be self motivated, detail oriented and flexible as to their schedule as it is subject to change. Also perform any other duties as designated by supervisor.

This person must be self motivated, detail oriented, and willing to be flexible as to their schedule. Must be honest and hard working. There will be a drug test, physical and background check.

Applicant must agree to work according to Good Manufacturing Practices. Must be a high school graduate and at least 18 years of age.
