Gaming Attendant | Dog and Parrot Tavern

The Dog and Parrot Tavern is looking for a reliable and experienced Gaming Attendant to join our team. We are offering a consistent roster of 20–25 hours per week, with a primary focus on night and weekend shifts.

To be considered, you must be over 18 and hold current RSA and RCG certificates. We are seeking people with prior experience in gaming rooms and Keno and TAB experience is also a strong bonus and will give you a significant advantage. We are looking for a professional who can multitask between service and gaming tasks while providing a great experience for our locals. A day in the life of a Gaming Attendant:

• Actively engage with guests by sharing your passion for our products and create special moments that our guests won’t forget
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety as well as RSA and RCG/RSG compliance
• Complete machine payouts and cash handling tasks in accordance with hotel policies and gaming regulations

Qualifications

About you:

• You are great with people, detail and communication and are motivated to make magic happen for your guests and your teammates
• You are a team player and have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You must hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications
• Keno and TAB experience
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
