The ideal candidate has solid gaming room experience, understands compliance inside out, and holds a current RSA, RCG and gaming licence, with comfort performing physical tasks. Gaming Manager | Skyways Hotel

Right now, Skyways is the number 1 Victorian Venue in ALH! Recently we have had an
exciting Gaming Room transformation and we’re on the hunt for a Gaming Manager who
wants to be part of the evolution from the ground up. If you're a dynamic leader, have a
passion for gaming and guest experience, and proven skills in gaming and pub operations
this is your moment.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Motivate, inspire and empower the team to place our guests at the heart of everything we do, creating gaming experiences that locals love.
• Deliver regular coaching and training to the team to ensure that gaming areas operate in line with Responsible Service of Alcohol and Gaming regulations
• Build a service culture that is centered around fun, passion, authenticity & responsibility, encouraging your team to be their best version and guests to come as they are!
• Drive financial performance & outcomes inline with business expectations
• You'll create a premium ambiance and deliver first-class service through immaculate presentation and meticulous attention to detail

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA, RCG and Gaming Licence as per state requirements
