Job Description

  • Lead and develop the national Business Manager team, driving Finance, Insurance and Warranty (F&I) performance across the Dutton Automotive retail network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise finance penetration, gross profit, warranty and insurance sales.
  • Coach and support Business Managers to achieve consistent commercial performance and exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Partner with Retail Leadership and Dutton Financial Services to optimise finance opportunities, deal flow and settlement efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with lenders, financiers, insurers and product providers to support commercial outcomes.
  • Monitor F&I performance, identify opportunities and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all F&I activities meet NCCP, Responsible Lending, Privacy, AML/CTF and Australian Credit Licence requirements.
  • Drive consistent national F&I processes, capability and best practice while supporting continuous improvement across the network.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in automotive F&I, automotive finance or asset finance, with strong knowledge of the automotive retail environment.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching or managing Business Managers or F&I teams, preferably across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of automotive finance products, lender processes, settlements, warranty and insurance products.
  • Established relationships with a panel of automotive finance lenders and financial services providers.
  • Proven track record in achieving finance penetration, gross profit, warranty and insurance targets.
  • Strong understanding of NCCP, Responsible Lending, Australian Credit Licence, Privacy and AML/CTF requirements.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance sales, compliance and customer outcomes.
  • Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking or equivalent highly desirable, together with strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
