Job Summary:
As an Analyst or Associate within the Large Cap coverage team in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to grow the Corporate Banking business across Large Corporate clients in the UAE. You will leverage our international network of bankers and product partners to lead client delivery from a global perspective.
This role provides the chance to build effective relationships, gain in-depth understanding of the client's business, and demonstrate your knowledge and experience on a full set of corporate banking products. Your proactive task management, responsiveness, and execution capabilities will be key in delivering our bank to our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Corporate Bankers to develop and deepen the relationships for a portfolio of UAE headquartered corporate clients.
- Leverage the bank’s international network of bankers and product partners to efficiently lead the client relationships from a global perspective and address our clients’ needs.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new revenue, including conducting industry and company research and credit analysis.
- Provide corporate banking products, including cash management, trade, DCM, lending products, markets products, securities services, and asset management products.
- Process the onboarding of clients, present the respective business and credit cases to internal partners and committees, and prepare internal memos, committee memoranda, relationship reviews, account plans, client portfolios, and pipeline reporting.
- Act as the first line of defence for continuous credit quality monitoring.
- Assisting with country-level reporting requirements and data management
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Fluency in English
- Relevant Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking experience
- Strong corporate finance, credit, analytical, and modelling skills in order to collaborate seamlessly with the credit underwriting teams on analysis, structuring and documentation of credit requests as well as with the IB industry Coverage and Product Partners on IB pitches and executions
- Superior Excel and Power Point skills
- Highly motivated, productive team player. Partnership and communication skills are essential as work will often overlap with industry partners, product partners and investment banking teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial mind-set and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
