Surventis, is a global expert in the development, production and marketing of innovative and sustainable mobility and refinish coatings, as well as surface treatments for metal, plastic and glass across many industries. We share the skills, knowledge and resources of interdisciplinary global teams through a collaborative network of sites in Europe, North America, South America and Asia Pacific. We are looking for a Global Key Account Manager to join our enthusiastic, supportive, and driven team. The position consists of managing the overall business objectives, goals, strategies, and sales responsibilities of selected strategic accounts. They will also be responsible for focusing on business development. The GKAM will be ensuring strategic and tactical objectives are achieved for the selected customers. This position will establish and maintain favorable customer relations at all engineering design level to design in technology on current and future production parts but will also be involved at the local plant level to help roll out new processes. This position will be the focal point for all customer interaction, global in scope, and will be responsible for total customer relationship management. The GKAM will also maintain high communication and involvement within the organization. Strong relationships with the global internal team (management, RD&E, customer service, plant sales, etc.) are necessary.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Customer relationship management to include interaction with: Management, Materials and Process Engineering, Purchasing, Design, Q C, Environmental, Etc.
  • Coordinate product specifications globally (Ensure specs are global where relevant)
  • Develop project & product leverage around the world
  • Communicate needs to local directional team for new product ideas and growth
  • Communicate with directional team on active RD&E projects with key accounts as well as, global communication
  • Manage the profitability and growth of the accounts
  • Develop a Value-Added sales model through cost saving program implementation and through new product introduction.
  • Understand global cost issues relating to your account
  • Develop strategy & tactics for key accounts to successfully
  • accomplish financial goals, continuous improvements, and account growth
  • Define, monitor, organize, and communicate competitive methods and other techniques/trends of assembly etc.
  • Conducting technical presentations, Tech Expos, etc., about Chemical technology at key customer locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field required.
  • Seven to ten years of experience within a similar environment preferred
  • Experience in managing large, multinational, multimillion-dollar accounts
  • Excellent computer and database management skills
  • Overseas business travel experience is a benefit
  • Project management or team leadership experience
