Your Role
We’re seeking a collaborative, data-driven Program Manager to steer our global energy and water efficiency, waste circularity, and Scope 1&2 decarbonization efforts. As Global Program Manager – Site Operations Sustainability, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our Life Science Business’ manufacturing regions and sites to drive these programs forward. You’ll coordinate global stakeholders, lead best-practice sharing, shape program direction, support project development, and ensure sustainability alignment across CapEx investments. What You’ll Do
Steer energy, water, and waste programs across sites, and regions.
Develop and maintain project roadmaps with all sites and contribute to the development of our portfolio sustainability tracking application.
Manage a ~€20 million CapEx budget; collect and validate project proposals; and prioritize program investments.
Review Capex investments > €500k; provide sustainability approval for projects up to €2M.
Forecast and set targets for Scope 1&2 emissions, energy, water, and waste circularity by site/region.
Maintain KPI scorecards, maintain and share best practices, update policies, and lead regular team meetings.
Help select Program Regional and Site Leads as vacancies arise.
Communicate results and progress to senior management with clarity and impact.
People & Collaboration
Influence and coordinate core program teams of ~10 and engage 100+ site experts (not direct reports in this role).
Lead through influence and collaboration across functions and sites.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, energy and water efficiency best practices, and building automation & controls.
Experience with commercial/industrial building systems, plus data analytics, forecasting, planning, and change management.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of WRI Greenhouse Gas protocol accounting standards.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, forecasting, and data analytics.
Experience with environmental accounting software (CR/UL360 or similar).
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills with data-driven storytelling.
Experience balancing multiple priorities and leading virtual teams.
Pay Range for this position: $115,00-172,600
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
