Kinross Gold Corporation is hiring two Gold Rush Summer Interns in Growth and Pipeline Studies for a four-month program starting May 2026 in downtown Toronto. The role supports strategic business planning, life of mine planning updates, scoping and feasibility studies, business case development, and performance improvement projects, with a hybrid setup (three days in office, two days remote) and a business casual dress code. Ideal candidates are 2nd or 3rd year engineering students with strong Excel skills, clear written and oral communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative, self-directed work style; mining experience and language skills are assets. The analyst intern will support current business needs, which may vary over the course of the internship. The base salary range for this role is $44,226 to $60,060 CAD, plus 4% vacation pay.
The hiring range reflects our targeted compensation framework for the role. The actual offer will be determined through a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate’s experience, capabilities, and potential impact, along with consideration of internal equity, team structure, and benchmark market data for similar positions.
