As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery and ongoing improvement of the University’s electrical services infrastructure across multiple campuses. Working within the Engineering Services team in Campus Life, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad portfolio of building services and high voltage environments.
Here is how you will make it matter:
Support the design, review and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across campus infrastructure projects, including HV and LV systems, lighting, generators, UPS and photovoltaic systems.
Assist with reviewing electrical drawings, documentation and site installations, including inspections and system witnessing.
Contribute to the installation, commissioning, maintenance and asset replacement of electrical equipment and metering systems.
Maintain and update electrical infrastructure records, databases and project documentation, providing regular progress updates.
Investigate energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives and assist with developing business cases and implementation plans.

You will also have:
A degree in Electrical Engineering recognised in Australia.
Foundational knowledge of electrical systems within building services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from experienced engineers.

An interest in infrastructure sustainability, asset management and continuous improvement.

This is a continuing, full-time position primarily based at the Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) campus. As Griffith is a multi-site University, you may be required to work across other locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $79,705 – $89,416 per annum plus 17 percent superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $93,254 – $104,616 per annum.
