WSP in the Middle East is seeking a motivated and ambitious Emirati National Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Dry Utilities Design team in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience, develop technical expertise, and contribute to the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects across the UAE. Working alongside senior engineers and technical specialists, you will receive mentorship, structured training, and exposure to world-class design practices.

  • Support the design and documentation of dry utilities systems and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in preparing drawings, design calculations, reports, and specifications under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Participate in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of mechanical designs within wider infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct research and support the development of innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Assist in reviewing local authority regulations and standards to ensure compliance in design outputs.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and help maintain project documentation.
  • Engage in training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance professional growth.
  • UAE National (with a valid Family Book).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interest in utilities design and infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of engineering principles, with basic understanding of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
