- A degree in Electrical Engineering. Specialisation in Power Systems or Control Systems is critical.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Confident with simulation tools like PSS®E, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
- Ideally, familiar with grid connection engineering for the NEM, with a basic understanding of the NER (National Electricity Rules) and Australian grid standards.
- A strong communicator, able to clearly convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Strategically minded with strong business sense, capable of aligning technical expertise with broader business goals.
