Bring a relevant degree (Engineering, Sustainability, Science, Architecture or Design), be available to start in February 2027, and show curiosity, strong communication and a collaborative spirit. What you’ll do 


You’ll be a key contributor to transforming the way we design and deliver projects to achieve carbon neutrality and sustainability. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness of sustainability initiatives and develop impactful sustainability programs, driving cultural change and enhancing sustainability outcomes for our clients.  

As a Sustainability Consultant in our Buildings team at Aurecon, you’ll: 

  • Own your career while growing your skills through workshops and self-paced learning 

  • Apply your analytical and problem-solving skills on live client projects 

  • Work with diverse, multidisciplinary teams across engineering, advisory, and design 

  • Learn from industry experts and mentors through hands-on guidance 

  • Connect through Limelight, our early careers network 

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • A relevant degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Science, Architecture, Design (completed or near completion)  

  • Graduated and available to start full-time in early February 2027 

  • Curiosity and a desire to solve real-world problems 

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset 

  • Motivation to grow both consulting and professional capability
