Job Summary

 

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a grinder. The Grinder is responsible for processing product into regrind.  The hours are a 2-2-3 schedule with the hours 6pm-6am.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Keeps area clean at all times
  • Prepares scrap pipe by cleaning, removing gaskets, banding and wood
  • Operates and maintains grinder equipment
  • Completes grinder paperwork
  • Inventories scrap pipe and regrind
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

 

Job Requirements

 

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with management, and colleagues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • The hourly pay rate is $21/hr
