The Role:

We’re seeking a Handyman/Carpenter with a strong background in construction to join our team. This is a dynamic, mobile role that spans a broad area, requiring adaptability, resourcefulness, and efficient time management. It’s a hands-on position where you’ll engage in a wide range of small building projects, carry out essential repairs, hard landscaping and proactively maintain client buildings and assets (such as playgrounds) to the highest standards. Working alongside a collaborative team of builders, handypersons, plumbers, electricians, estimators, and project managers, you’ll be instrumental in delivering exceptional results that make a real difference in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely delivering high-quality small building projects, hard landscaping, and maintenance work
• Managing safety, compliance, and quality standards across all tasks
• Collaborating effectively with in-house teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to self-deliver building projects
• Planning and managing project costs, compliance requirements, and purchasing materials.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

About You:

You’re a Handyman/Carpenter with the skills and experience to deliver quality workmanship in a safe and efficient manner. You take pride in your craft and enjoy contributing to a supportive and high-performing team.

Key Attributes We’re Looking For:

• Ability to draft simple plans for repair or maintenance projects and confidently execute new projects based on detailed plans
• A proactive approach to safety, ensuring tools and equipment are used and maintained responsibly
• Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to complete work on time and to specification
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients
• IT experience with apps and technology essential for efficient task management and reporting
• Experience working on infrastructure assets in parks is highly desired
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support your teammates to ensure project success
