We are on the lookout for a Casual and a Part Time Handyperson to join our maintenance team here at the resort.
What You Will Be Doing:
General Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out routine painting, plastering, basic carpentry, tiling, and minor plumbing or electrical troubleshooting.
Preventative Care: Conduct scheduled maintenance checks on guest rooms (e.g., lighting, furniture, fixtures) and public areas to fix issues before guests notice them.
Rapid Response: Respond promptly and politely to urgent maintenance requests from guests or other hotel departments.
Safety First: Maintain tools, equipment, and workshops in a safe, clean order, ensuring all work complies with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
Previous handyperson experience is essential, hotel resort environment desirable.
What We Are Looking For:
The "Fix-It" Mindset: Proven experience in a handyperson, trade assistant, or building maintenance role (hospitality or residential experience is a major plus).
A Broad Skill Set: Practical, hands-on knowledge of painting, basic repairs, and using a variety of hand and power tools.
