Convene is seeking an experienced Head Chef to launch and lead the UK culinary program for events in London. Reporting to the Venue Manager, this Monday to Friday daytime role offers work-life balance with Christmas off. You’ll manage food costs, menu development, food safety, inventory and vendor partnerships while overseeing hiring, training, scheduling and maintenance. Partner with the US operations team to establish Convene’s UK presence and lead a hands-on coaching kitchen. Ideal candidates have high-volume cooking leadership, solid cost controls, sanitation discipline and tech proficiency. Head Chef- Meetings & Events
We are seeking an experience people focused Head Chef to join our fantastic team at Convene Hospitality Group (CHG). The Head Chef will report directly to the Venue Manager, and will be the go to for all things kitchen related, working collaboratively with the front of house operations teams. We're the new kids on the block at CHG and are looking for those leaders who really know their stuff and care about food, people and experience, forget the old school approach we're thinking 2026 and beyond. In the world of corporate events, we are well planned in advance giving seemless time to plan and organise, not something you get in an every day Head Chef position, that combined with a true sense of work/life balance and here at CHG you can expect to work balanced hours whilst being flexible. Majority of our events take place Monday-Friday throughout the daytime... sounds too good to be true right!? Well you can expect Christmas off to spend time with your friends & family as our properties are closed.
