Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi seeks a Head of Inclusion for AY2026/27 to lead policy, data-driven intervention, and provision for SEN, POD, G&T and EAL within the British Curriculum. You will design schemes of work, monitor performance, safeguard students, support CAS and after‑school sessions, and mentor Year 12/13 students. Requirements include a BEd in Psychology or equivalent with PGCE, at least six years teaching Psychology including four at or above standard, strong I/GCSE and I/A Level experience, ESL proficiency and a clean DBS. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education Degree in Psychology or bachelor’s degree in equivalent field with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in teaching Psychology (Mandatory), including 4 consecutive years of teaching performance that exceeds standards and expectations as per appraisal reviews
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
- Experience of a British Curriculum is essential, including I/GCSE and I/A Level.
- Previous leadership experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience working with students whom English is not their first language
