RTL Ad Alliance seeks a Head of Account Management to drive revenue growth across France, Benelux and Asia, build an account management team and own key advertiser and agency relationships in TV and video. Your Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and cultivating strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and key industry partners in France, Benelux & Asia. We require an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our commercial strategy across the European media landscape. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in media sales, a deep understanding of the European market, and the ability to develop innovative go-to-market strategies in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
  • The Head of Account Management is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving customer success, retaining and growing key advertiser and/or agency relationships, and leading a high-performing account management team. Reporting to the Business Unit Director, this is a regional role, who will act as the voice of the client (advertiser & agency) within the business, ensuring strategic and sales excellence, driving multi-market sales strategies across TV, video, digital, programmatic, branded content, campaigns. You will also collaborate closely with Ad Operations, Product, Supply and Marketing teams to scale revenue and deliver measurable impact.
  • Strategy & Relationship Ownership
    • Oversee the management of top-tier advertisers & agencies.
    • Enable and ensure service excellence across all campaign touchpoints briefing, planning, execution, reporting.
    • Drive our sales vision, craft go-to-market strategy that supports long-term business plans and growth
    • Grow and enable the team to grow advertiser & agency relationships, taking the responsibility as an escalation point for strategic client challenges, campaign delivery and performance.
  • Commercial Growth & Retention
    • Translate market trends into actionable commercial strategies.
    • Develop strategies to retain and grow business in line with commercial objectives.
    • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and partner with Advertiser and Agency team to drive incremental revenue.
    • Monitor account health and implement improvement plans where needed.
    • Champion client-centric innovation in media solutions and delivery
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a regional team of Account Managers.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and growth.
    • Drive team spirit and collaboration with continuous learning and best practice sharing across markets.
    • Hold full disciplinary responsibility, including development, performance, and resource planning
  • Reporting & Performance Management
    • Manage set KPI's ( retention, upsell rate, campaign delivery), steer the team accordingly & report regularly to regional leadership.
    • Strong managerial skills, setting and managing team and career development KPI’s
    • Use advertiser & agency feedback and market insights to shape regional account strategy and business goals.
    • Actively prepare & deploy the Quarterly Business Review with Top-Tier customers

 

Your profile

  • 10+ years in account/client management, with at least 3 in a leadership role
  • Strong background in TV & video advertising planning or media sales
  • Proven experience scaling client relationships and leading teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures
  • Strategic thinker with operational agility and a hands-on approach
  • Proficiency in CRM and media planning/reporting tools
  • Fluency in English & French. Any other European language is an advantage.

Our team is responsible for managing strategic relationships with Advertisers & Agencies and continue to build synergies where a stable relationship had already been built. The intent is to drive revenue growth through tailored collaboration and innovative solutions. We work closely with both local and international stakeholders.

We operate primarily in English and represent a mix of nationalities, creating a vibrant and inclusive team culture
