You’ll also provide contract governance, regulatory compliance, HR, risk and dispute guidance, and shape policies aligned with local laws. Candidates should have a law degree, be admitted in Australia, and bring substantial M&A PQE with in-house or fast-growth experience, software/tech preferred. Banyan Software is looking to add a high-calibre Head of Legal to its growing APAC team. This is a senior, autonomous role that functions as the principal legal resource for Banyan's APAC region. Combining end-to-end M&A transaction support with GC-style advisory across our APAC headquarters and operating companies. Based in Melbourne, this individual will work closely with the APAC Group President, the General Counsel based in Toronto and, where appropriate, external legal advisors.
