This is a high-impact, P&L-adjacent role that requires a rare blend of high-level business development and operational execution. As the manager of your verticals, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our services; from launching new products and managing partner relationships to handling the daily project management and administrative tasks that keep these businesses functional. In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- End-to-End Vertical Ownership: Drive the commercial performance of service products from contract execution through to final customer billing and reconciliation
- P&L Management: Monitor vertical health (subscriber growth, churn, and revenue) and identify levers to improve margins and long-term profitability
- Commercial Negotiation: Evaluate and challenge new partnership proposals; optimise existing white-label agreements to ensure healthy commercial terms and operational viability
- Product Implementation: Lead the "hands-on" rollout of new service features and product expansions, acting as the primary project manager
- Milestone Tracking: Develop project timelines, track delivery milestones, and ensure all internal and external stakeholders meet deadlines
- Troubleshooting: Serve as the first point of escalation for operational failures (e.g., API sync issues or billing discrepancies), coordinating directly with technical teams for resolution
- Internal Translation: Act as the primary bridge between external partners (Telcos, Utilities, Banks) and internal departments (Marketing, Tech, Customer Support).
- Briefing & Coordination: Translate partner requirements into actionable internal briefs to ensure product launches and updates are seamless
- Financial Integrity: Manage critical administrative tasks, including the auditing of monthly partner invoices and the maintenance of pricing tables
- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all compliance documentation and regulatory requirements for each vertical are filed and maintained in accordance with ANZ laws
- Performance Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards to provide the executive team with a transparent view of vertical health and performance trends
To be successful in this role, you should be:
- University degree qualified in a relevant field such as Commerce, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experienced in Partnerships, Commercial Operations, or Category Management, with a preference for those from multi-service, white-label, Retail, or eCommerce backgrounds.
- A proven performer in managing complex project lifecycles and hitting strict deadlines without the need for hand-holding.
- Deeply familiar with unit economics, margin optimization, and complex contract structures.
- Able to influence high-level external partners while effectively briefing internal technical and creative teams
- A self-starter who treats your assigned verticals as your own business and takes immediate action when operational issues arise
- Confident working cross-functionally to drive commercial outcomes across the organisation
- An excellent communicator with the stakeholder engagement skills required to build trusted relationships and influence key decision-makers
- Highly organised, with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple opportunities, competing priorities, and tight deadlines simultaneously
- A versatile operator with a "do-er" mentality, capable of pivoting between high-level strategy and granular execution—whether that means presenting to the CEO, troubleshooting back-end plan fixes, or navigating diverse regulations across different service pillars without losing a beat
