Role purpose

The Head of POS is firstly the POS Partner of the Platform Lead Country of this perimeter. The Head of POS has the same mission than all the POS Partners of other countries.

The Head of POS supports the convergence of HR processes, organization, and systems toward Group standards, fostering greater integration and coherence. The Head of POS drive operational excellence through compliance with Group standards, data quality, performance insights, and internal control, while allowing for necessary local adaptations.

As Platform POS Lead, contributes to Group-level projects, ensuring that global processes reflect operational realities and coordinates and empowers POS teams across countries, to ensure consistency, alignment, and impact, enhancing the efficiency of HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities at Country level

1. HR processes and HR Transformation

  • Champions the compliant deployment of Group POS standards. Conducts annual compliance reviews, ensures other Group HR standards (Talent, C&B, etc.) are applied, and co-develops corrective actions for gaps.
  • Supports the formalization of local HR processes through standardized tools (SOPs, Handbooks, etc), while promoting continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) to optimize quality, speed, and cost control.
  • Under the responsibility of the Country CHRO, leads internal control for the HR function (2nd line of defence), by driving the Group annual campaign and ensuring local HR accountability over process controls.
  • Relays HR POS transformation projects initiated by the Group (HR TOM, HR organization,…) and supports local HR teams in change management.

2. HR Data Quality & Systems

  • Drives continuous improvement in HR data quality: ensures the reliability, completeness, and consistency of HR data in Group systems (e.g., Sezame), using monitoring and process mining tools (Visier, PowerBI, Celonis, etc.) for continuous tracking.
  • Heads positions management (creation, modification, inactivation) according to POS standards, in coordination with stakeholders (HRBP, Finance, IT), and ensures regular updates of the HR organization in systems.
  • Partners with POS and Data & Insights teams across platform countries to analyze data, resolve exceptions, and improve processes using dashboards and digital tools.
  • Leads the rollout and adoption of digital HR tools in line with Group standards, acts as HRIS subject matter expert, and manages incidents, inquiries, and requests for process or system enhancements.

3. HR Performance & People Insights

  • Monitors HR performance indicators at the local level.
  • Produces People Insights analyses to support HR decision-making.
  • Contributes to local Business Reviews by providing HRBPs with relevant and necessary indicators.
  • Leads the HR budget and MTP processes, ensuring expense control and alignment with strategic and operational priorities.

 

Key Responsibilities at Platform level

1. Platform POS Leadership

  • Manages all POS teams within the platform and ensures adequate coverage of POS responsibilities in each country, through effective organization , skills development and, when needed, resource mutualization across the platform.
  • Holds accountability for ways of working (EWOW, EWOL) across all POS teams in the platform.
  • Serves as the voice and reference for POS within the platform HR leadership team to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Represents the platform in the Group POS Leadership Team, relays country needs, and helps shape Group processes to reflect both global and local realities.
  • Promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing across countries to harmonize development efforts and foster best practices.
  • Is accountable for POS performance and continuous improvement across all countries within the platform.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in HR management, including HR operations, within an international and matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in HR information systems, data management, and analytics and process tracking tools.
  • Ability to lead transformation projects and support change.
  • Strong collaboration skills, advisory posture, and ability to work across networks (local / platform / Group).
  • Fluent in English.

Success Indicators

  • Compliance rate with POS standards and other HR Group standards.
  • HR data quality: completeness rate, accuracy, update frequency, resolution of exceptions.
  • HRBP and stakeholder satisfaction regarding clarity, reliability, and usefulness of provided materials and indicators.
  • POS performance measured across the platform (harmonization, best practice sharing, team skill development, operational efficiency).
