Job Description

The Power Transmission & Distribution (PTD) division of our Electrical Connectors Division provides innovative interconnect and contact solutions for critical power applications. The focus is on enabling reliable, efficient and high-performance energy transmission, distribution and supply, in power grids, energy plants, data centers and industrial applications. Driven by global drivers such as electrification, AI and digitalization, we support the modernization of infrastructure and the growing global demand for high power density, efficiency and system reliability. As Head of Product Management, you will play a key role in our growth strategy.

 

Your responsibilities:

• Strategic further development of PTD's global product portfolio (incl. product roadmap) in line with market, customer and competitive requirements

• Lead, coach and develop the global product management team to achieve defined growth and strategic goals

• Preparation of market and competitor analyses as well as derivation and implementation of international market development strategies (Product, Place, Price, Promotion)

• Management and co-responsibility of product development projects, including definition of requirement specifications and ensuring marketability

• Responsibility for the entire product life cycle, including technical documentation, market launch and continuous optimization

• Working closely with sales, business development, R&D, marketing, and customers worldwide to further develop the market and establish and expand key relationships

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering) or business administration with a strong technical understanding

• Several years of experience in product management, sales, product development or project management in an industrial environment

• In-depth knowledge of the development and management of product portfolios as well as the international market environment

• Experience with ERP (e.g. SAP), CRM (e.g. Aurea) and Office 365 systems

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and strategically align teams

• High customer and market orientation as well as strong analytical and networked thinking

• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working with a willingness to travel internationally (~15%)

• Fluent (min. C1) in both German and English; other languages are an advantage
