We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales Support to lead our Sales Support function, driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding service to our customers and partners.

About the Role

As Head of Sales Support, you will provide strategic direction and operational leadership for a team of around 30 professionals. Your mission is to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality processes that support our growth objectives. You’ll manage pre- and post-sales activities, oversee key systems, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and minimise cost to serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Sales Support teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Drive strategic and operational improvements across all customer segments.
  • Ensure robust, documented processes and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Manage workflows, tenders, and key systems (Junifer, CRM, CSPs).
  • Provide accurate reporting and insights to senior leadership.
  • Resolve escalations and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Influence wider B2B sales strategy and contribute to proposition development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven senior management experience in sales support or similar.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of gas and electricity industry processes.
