We’re looking for a talented Health and Safety Advisor to help us keep the  good energy flowing. 

In this role, you'll be part of a team delivering H&S best practice to Clarus' operations and activities.  You’ll be joining a supportive team in a hybrid working environment, who work within an atmosphere where autonomy and flexibility compliments the challenging and interesting work environment. 

You can expect to:

  • Assist with delivery of our HSEQ Plan, working within the broader People, Safety and Sustainability (PSS) team.
  • Provide H&S technical advice and support to employees, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Promote the use and continuous development of safety management systems, standards and tools throughout the business.
  • Support Hazard and Risk Management (initial, review, monitoring).
  • Perform H&S data monitoring, analysis and reporting. 

This role is based at our Hamilton office.

Qualifications

He aha tāu e kawe mai  (What you will bring)

Along with your relevant health and safety qualifications and 5+ years' experience in health and safety, you will have superior communication and influencing skills, excellent writing skills - able to adjust to different audiences. 

Ideally you'll also have experience with behavioural based safety observation programmes.

Experience across the energy sector or transport is preferable.
