SEHA seeks a full-time Health Care Assistant to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, supporting nursing and multidisciplinary teams in delivering residents’ everyday non-clinical needs and assisting families. You’ll handle patient care support (ADLs, mobility, activities, clean and safe environments), follow care plans, communicate clearly, collaborate, mentor juniors, and contribute to quality improvements while maintaining infection control, safety, confidentiality, and UAE regulations. Requirements include Certified Nursing Aide/Caregiver, BLS, English fluency (Arabic preferred), and at least 1 year of healthcare experience (long-term care preferred); Diploma in Nursing preferred. Working closely and support nursing staff and other multidisciplinary team to provide the everyday non-clinical needs of the residents and families.
1. Patient Care Support
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Support patient mobility and safe handling techniques.
- Help with patient activities, social engagement, and external trips.
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked patient environments.
- Follow care plans under supervision of nurses/therapists.
2. Communication & Teamwork
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Contribute positively to a supportive team environment and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Nursing Aide / Caregiver (required)
- Diploma in Nursing (preferred)
- Valid BLS certification (mandatory)
- At least 1 year of healthcare experience (preferably long-term care)
- English fluency required; Arabic preferred
