About the Role

Reporting to the HSE team, the HSE Administrator plays a key support role in maintaining effective health, safety, and environmental programs across the organization. This position is responsible for document control, compliance tracking, and coordinating HSE-related processes to support operational excellence and regulatory compliance. 

Job Status: Summer Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize HSE documentation, including training certificates, inspections, safety meetings, and regulatory records 
  • Track employee safety training requirements and coordinate scheduling, registration, and recordkeeping for courses and certifications 
  • Support workplace inspections, audits, and compliance activities by compiling data, tracking findings, and monitoring follow-up actions 
  • Prepare HSE reports, metrics, and dashboards (e.g., training compliance, inspection results, safety performance indicators) for management review 
  • Coordinate HSE communications, campaigns, and program initiatives (e.g., safety alerts, intranet updates, dashboards) 
  • Assist in maintaining HSE systems, processes, and records to ensure accuracy and alignment with regulatory and corporate standards 
  • Provide administrative support to the HSE team, including data entry, reporting, and process coordination

Qualifications & Experience

  • Pursuing post-secondary education in Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related field  
  • Strong organizational and document control skills with high attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
