The High Jewelry Manager for Tiffany & Co. MEA will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving the growth and development of the High Jewelry business across the Middle East and Africa region. This role requires a deep understanding of the luxury market, exceptional client relationship skills, and a strategic vision to elevate Tiffany & Co.'s position as a leader in high jewelry. The successful candidate will be passionate about high jewelry, possess a strong business acumen, and be adept at building and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales:
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed high jewelry sales targets across the MEA region.
    • Ensure a significant focus on high-value sales, with a specific objective to achieve 50% of sales at Dubai Mall for pieces over 10 carats.
    • Work closely with retail teams to optimize high jewelry assortment planning and stock development, ensuring a compelling and relevant offering for our discerning clientele.
    • Actively animate stores to create an exceptional high jewelry experience for clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and nurture relationships with Very Important Clients (VICs) through bespoke experiences and engagements in high-value environments such as art galleries, private members' clubs, and exclusive events.
    • Deeply understand the lifestyle, preferences, and desires of our high jewelry clients to provide personalized service and build lasting relationships.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, build, and lead a dedicated high jewelry team, fostering a culture of excellence, passion, and client-centricity.
    • Implement comprehensive training and coaching programs for the high jewelry team and broader retail teams, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and client engagement.
    • Drive the High Jewelry Academy training program to ensure all relevant personnel possess unparalleled expertise.
  • Product Expertise & Market Insight:
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the high jewelry market, including trends, competitor activities, and client preferences.
    • Possess strong knowledge of watches to complement high jewelry offerings and client discussions.
    • Provide insights and feedback to regional and global teams on product development and market opportunities.
  • Regional Travel:
    • Undertake regular business travel across the MEA region to support retail teams, engage with VIC clients, and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in high jewelry sales and management within a luxury retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow a high jewelry business.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills with a strong network of high-net-worth individuals.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team building, training, and coaching.
  • Deep passion for high jewelry and an intricate understanding of gemstones, craftsmanship, and design.
  • Knowledgeable in luxury watches.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic and other regional languages are a significant advantage.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the MEA region.
