We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Mortgage Distribution team in a client facing role as the bank seeks to grow its IWPB business and specifically the Mortgage book by understanding and fulfilling clients’ needs. 

 

The working location for this position is HSBC Tower, Dubai, UAE.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Grow the mortgage book and deliver targets: Maximise profit and deliver growth in line with AOP and agreed KPIs, including New-to-Bank (NTB) acquisition and Existing-to-Bank (ETB) development.

 

  • Manage end-to-end home finance sales and applications: Guide clients through the full mortgage journey (Approval in Principle to disbursement), processing applications in line with lending policy and agreed quality/efficiency standards.

 

  • Build and retain high-value client relationships: Acquire, develop, and retain relationships with high-net-worth clients, ensuring a “best in class” experience and positioning HSBC as the client’s primary bank.

 

  • Identify opportunities and cross-sell appropriately: Proactively identify client needs and home finance opportunities, with strong cross-sale awareness; refer non-qualified business to the right teams following proposition protocol.

 

  • Stakeholder management to deliver smooth execution: Co-ordinate with customers, Relationship Managers, developers, agents, other banks, and internal processing teams to ensure efficient communication and a seamless transaction flow.

 

  • Operate with strong risk, governance, and compliance discipline: Ensure all activity aligns to Group operating models and relevant policies, including KYC, sanctions and AML requirements, operational risk management, and timely completion of mandatory compliance training.

 

 

Knowledge / Experience

  • Proven progressive home finance services and/or retail sales experience, with the ability to run the home finance sales process end-to-end.
  • Evidence of strong sales results in Home Finance, with a clear track record of delivering growth and meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Experience managing and growing HNW client relationships, with strong client focus and credibility to position HSBC as the client’s primary bank
  • Sound knowledge of home finance products and services and the client relationship management system, plus effective use of tools and MI to manage pipeline and activity.
  • A clear view of how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to maintain a balanced risk environment and operate within lending policy and required standards.
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
