IRT Sarah Claydon is hiring a permanent part-time Hospitality Employee to create a comfortable, welcoming environment for residents, delivering meals, assisting with basic meal prep, laundry and cleaning, and building meaningful relationships with residents and families. The roster rotates across mornings with weekend shifts, in a two week cycle, offering predictable but flexible scheduling. To be successful you should have experience delivering hospitality services, a big heart and strong customer service, plus exposure to health or aged care is desirable. Food safety certification is desirable, and availability for a range of shifts is essential. As a Hospitality Employee at IRT Sarah Claydon, you will contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and their families. You will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality services, ensuring meals are served with care, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents.
This role is available on a permanent part-time basis, with the roster below and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available.
Week 1: Wednesday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm; Thursday & Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm; Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm; Saturday 6:30 am – 2:00 pm; Sunday 11:30 am – 6:30 pm.
Your work may include:
• Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
• Delivering and serving meals to our residents
• General laundry duties, including personal laundry
• Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Helping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas
