Blue Lagoon is looking for a positive individual with a strong service-oriented mindset in the position of host at Silica Hotel. Hosts are integral to the Blue Lagoon Iceland journey, facilitating an unforgettable stay through greeting, guiding, and advising at all touchpoints of the hotel experience.

Main responsibilities

• Managing the welcome process for all guests and confirming their itinerary.
• Ensure arrangements are confirmed in the booking system.
• Prepare for guest arrival by ensuring bookings are correct and that the itinerary is confirmed.
• Manage the departure process by confirming travel arrangements and ensuring a smooth check-out process.
• Other tasks related to the needs and desires of the guests.

Requirements

• Service-oriented mindset and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Exceptional communication and cooperation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Outgoing, with excellent people skills.
• Good computer skills.

The position is based on a shift schedule.
