- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide accurate wait times and handle guest inquiries
- Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area
- Assist with answering phone calls and managing to-go orders
- Keep track of table status and optimize seating arrangements
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Assist with special events and promotions as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer-facing role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Knowledge of local culture and etiquette is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service
Additional Information
