    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Hotel Manager to lead ibis Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences, building high-performing teams, and driving strong business results.

    Reporting to the General Manager of Novotel Christchurch, the Hotel Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of ibis Christchurch, leading all aspects of hotel performance including guest satisfaction, financial results, team engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.

    The successful candidate will bring proven hotel leadership experience, strong commercial acumen, excellent people leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and engaging culture. A hands-on leadership style, strong operational focus, and passion for developing talent will be key to success in this role.

    Qualifications

    • Previous hotel leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
    • Strong operational and commercial understanding of hotel operations
    • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Passion for guest experience and operational excellence
    • Experience within an international hotel brand preferred
