Novotel Queenstown Lakeside is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Hotel Reservations Agent to join our dynamic Reservations team. Experience in either FIT or Group reservations is ideal, and applicants with exposure to both will be highly regarded. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, has excellent organisational skills, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest service. Our Reservations team operates seven days a week, including public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle hotel room reservations efficiently via phone, email, and online platforms.
Respond to guest queries, booking modifications, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of all bookings in the hotel’s reservation system (OPERA).
Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
Provide exceptional customer service and support in line with brand standards.
Ensure data accuracy and attention to detail when processing reservations.
Manage large volumes of correspondence while maintaining service standards.
At least 6 months' experience in a reservations, hotel front office, or customer service role.
Proficiency with hotel booking systems such as OPERA or similar front office platforms.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Proven commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
