InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence.

The key deliverables for this role are:

•    Respect guest privacy and follow proper procedures when entering rooms.
•    Maintain housekeeping trolleys and closets, keeping them stocked and organized.
•    Clean and arrange guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and refresh all areas to InterContinental standard.
•    Replenish room amenities, towels, toiletries, and other supplies as needed.
•    Check that all appliances and fixtures are in working order and report any issues.
•    Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing friendly and professional service.
•    Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
•    Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and infection control guidelines.
•    Support team members and assist with cleaning public areas or other zones as needed.
•    Do the right thing by reporting maintenance issues, damaged, or missing items in guest rooms to the supervisor.
•    Take on other ad-hoc duties like a true team player. Be flexible and ready to assist with any other tasks when required by management.
•    Participate in daily briefings and training sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

•    At least 1 year experience in a housekeeping role in a 5-star hotel.
•    Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
•    Excellent attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
•    Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
•    Understanding of cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
•    Basic communication skills in English.
•    Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•    Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
•    Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
