The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and caring Housekeeping Team Leader to play an important role in creating a warm and supportive environment that helps families feel cared for from the moment they arrive.

Working 08:00- 16:30 on a rotating roster.

You'll lead a dedicated team of employees, volunteers and contractors to ensure every room and shared space is clean, welcoming and ready for families facing some of life's toughest moments.

You'll be a hands-on leader who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and supporting your team, ensuring the House is maintained to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.

What you'll be doing

● Leading and motivating our housekeeping team across a seven-day roster

● Creating a positive, supportive team culture

● Ensuring guest rooms and shared spaces are maintained to exceptional standards

● Coordinating room readiness with Front Office

● Managing housekeeping stock, ordering and inventory

● Training and supporting new team members and volunteers

● Completing administrative tasks, reporting and rostering support

● Maintaining strong health and safety practices

● Jumping in wherever needed to ensure families receive an outstanding experience

About you

You're someone who genuinely cares about people and takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces. You're organised, approachable and lead by example.

You'll also bring:

● Previous experience leading a housekeeping team preferred

● Excellent organisational and time management skills

● Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems

● Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning

● A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to pitch in wherever needed

● Empathy, kindness and professionalism when working alongside families experiencing difficult circumstances
