We are looking for an energetic and reliable Houseperson to join our team on a Casual basis. In this role, you will support the housekeeping team so that we always provide a well-presented space for our guests. This role is paid at the award rate of $25.85 per hour plus penalties on weekends and public holidays.

Job Description
- Ensure all housekeeping pantries are fully stocked with guest amenities
- Ensure towels and linen are refilled, replaced and stored correctly
- Report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, used and stored correctly.
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed
- Cleaning of public area spaces
Qualifications
What we are looking for
- Available to work up to 30 hours per week on a rotating roster including weekends
- Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail, taking pride in the presentation of the hotel
- Able to work in a physically demanding role which includes lifting and carrying, moving trolleys and using stairs
- Experience in housekeeping is preferred, and hotel experience is an advantage
- As this is a Casual position, you must have current working rights in Australia. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
