Home Group is hiring a Housing Concierge in Exeter on a full time temporary contract until 31 July 2026, 37.5 hours per week, salary £24,638 with benefits including a Health Cash Plan and enhanced leave. You’ll patrol buildings, monitor CCTV and fire doors, greet residents and visitors, coordinate repairs, respond to incidents, and support across Exeter sites while helping to manage anti social behaviour. The ideal candidate stays calm under pressure and communicates clearly, with a proven ability to support others and exercise good judgement. What you’ll do
Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network isn’t around to help!
Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

You have
Calmness under pressure with great communication skills
Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally
Good judgement and clear communication
You recognise when things are about to go wrong and are confident intervening in a sensitive way.
To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

The practical bits
Travel between our buildings across Exeter city centre
Working between hours of 7 am and 8pm, 4 week rolling rota
Although you’ll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly [in the daytime] for training and team meetings
You must be Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
