Home Group is hiring a permanent full time Housing Concierge in Launceston, Cornwall, 37.5 hours per week with night shifts (17:45–06:45) and a salary of £12.60 per hour plus benefits including a Health Cash Plan and enhanced pension. You’ll patrol the building, monitor CCTV and fire doors, greet residents and visitors, coordinate repairs, and be the first line of support when others aren’t available, calmly managing incidents and helping to curb anti-social behaviour. Ideal candidates stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and show genuine care for others; an Enhanced DBS check is paid for. Note we can’t offer a CoS. What you’ll do
Walk around the building checking CCTV, fire doors and communal areas
Greeting customers and visitors, picking up repairs or cleaning
The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network isn’t around to help!
Monitor and respond to incidents calmly, quickly and fairly
Work with colleagues and partners to manage anti-social behaviour

You have
Calm under pressure with great communication skills
Passion and experience in supporting others, either personally or professionally

The practical bits
You will be based in and working at our Supported Accommodation service in Dunheved Road, Launceston
You'll work three shifts per week from 17.45 - 06.45 (12.5 hours per shift) including week and weekend nights on a rolling rota basis.
Although you’ll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly in the daytime for training and team meetings
Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records and communicate with colleagues
You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done (we pay for it)
