What you’ll be doing:

As a Business Partner, you’ll help shape the way our Council works and make a real difference for our teams and the wider community. You’ll spend your time embedding practical people practices, turning workforce strategies into real results, and supporting leaders to grow their confidence and skills. One day, you might be leading a major organisational change project or tackling a tricky employment case; the next, you could be coaching teams, driving professional development, or finding smarter ways of working that make a tangible impact. Working closely with the Strategic OD Partner, you’ll take ownership of people-focused initiatives that benefit both staff and the organisation, helping us create a workplace where people can thrive.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director.
