Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank seeks a HR Operations Coordinator (UAE Nationals only) in Abu Dhabi to support Employee Relations by coordinating policy adherence, investigations, and records management. You will be the main contact for employee concerns, assist in grievances resolution, support engagement initiatives, and handle leave approvals, attendance monitoring, exit interviews, mobility requests, and EOS calculations. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in HR or related field, with solid UAE Labor Law knowledge, strong interpersonal and confidentiality skills, analytical thinking, and MS Office proficiency; English fluency, Arabic a plus. Role: HR Operations Coordinator (UAE Nationals only)

Location: Abu Dhabi   

Role Purpose: 

To support the Employee Relations (ER) function by coordinating employee relations activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies, and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture across the bank.

Key Accountabilities of the role:          

1. Employee Relations Support:

  • Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, grievances, and workplace concerns.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and disciplinary cases.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential ER case records.

2. Policy and Compliance:

  • Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations cases, warnings, and investigations.

3. Engagement and Communication:

  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement, communication, and workplace morale.
  • Assist in organizing employee feedback sessions, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Maintain positive working relationships between HR, management, and staff.

4. HR Administration:

  • Maintain up-to-date employee relations metrics and reports for management.
  • Support exit interviews and analyze trends to reduce turnover and improve satisfaction.
  • Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance documentation is complete.
  • Responsible for approving the leave on the system 
  • Control the time attendance reports if any misused.
  • Received mobility request.
  • EOS Calculation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of UAE Labor Law       

Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
