Fatherson International FZE is seeking a full-time HVAC Draftsman for onsite work in Sharjah. You will prepare detailed AutoCAD shop drawings, develop HVAC layouts and duct routing, coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting teams, and produce as-built drawings while ensuring compliance with project specifications, UAE codes and international standards. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of HVAC drafting experience, specifically in high-rise buildings and villas, strong AutoCAD skills, and a solid grasp of air conditioning, ventilation and chilled water systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings using AutoCAD .
  • Develop HVAC layouts, duct routing, chilled water piping, equipment layouts, sections, and installation details.
  • Prepare builders' work drawings and coordinated MEP drawings for site execution.
  • Coordinate HVAC services with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting disciplines.
  • Review consultant drawings and revise shop drawings based on comments and site requirements.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, UAE authority regulations, and international standards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
  • Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
  • Maintain proper drawing records and documentation.
  • Support the project team in meeting project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman.
  • Mandatory experience in High-Rise Building and Villa projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD .
  • Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including:
    • Air Conditioning Systems
    • Ventilation Systems
    • Chilled Water Systems
    • Ductwork Layouts
    • Equipment Installation Drawings
  • Ability to prepare HVAC shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Familiarity with UAE building codes, ASHRAE standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
