Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is seeking an Identity and Access Manager to join the IS team onsite in Southampton, focusing on provisioning and managing identities across Stony Brook Medicine’s IAM landscape including four hospitals and multiple locations on Long Island, with emphasis on the east end. The role covers creation and management of user accounts, home folders and network shares, AD maintenance, scripting and runbooks, and support for remote access and clinical application access, plus license management for Office 365 and policy administration. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or 2+ years in IT, 2+ years in AD and user account administration, excellent customer service, strong analytical and multitasking skills, and strong communication. Preferred: experience with Cerner, Eclipsys, PACS and vendor remote access. Travel may be required. Include resume with application and be prepared for pre-employment checks.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Identity and Access Manager is an integral part of the Stony Brook Southampton IS team, reporting to the Director of IS. This position will also be part of the SBMIT IAM team, which supports the management of our Identity and Access Management solutions for Stony Brook Medicine, inclusive of four hospitals and numerous clinical and non-clinical locations across Long Island. This position will have a focus on sites on the east end of Long Island. This role will assist in the provisioning of user accounts, terminations and changes. The qualified candidates will possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Multitasking skills are a must, the candidate much possess strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to work independently, and must be flexible to a work schedule that will require after hours and weekend support at times.
