JDI is seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) for the Kedgwick Sawmill in Kedgwick NB. This full-time onsite role offers $25.99 to $32.76 per hour, 45 hours per week, benefits, a safe workplace near home. You will install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment, perform SMAW and FCAW welding, troubleshoot, and service gearboxes and hydraulics, while upholding quality, safety and environmental standards. Ideal candidates hold an Industrial Mechanics diploma (Bloc 1+) and 2–5 years in industry, are fluent in French, and can work shifts including weekends and holidays; sawmill experience is a plus. We're looking for a reliable, motivated individuals with a positive attitude toward teamwork to fill an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) position at our Kedgwick Sawmill.

What you'll do:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical and industrial equipment in a production environment
• Perform SMAW and FCAW welding in all positions
• Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and conduct preventive maintenance on machines
• Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and more using electronic tools
• Identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards

• Education: Industrial Mechanics diploma (Minimum Bloc 1 or higher)
• Experience: 2-5 years in an industrial environment
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Sawmill experience is an asset
• Ability to communicate in French
• Must meet JDI selection criteria
