This hands on leadership role will manage a multi skilled team, coordinate pump maintenance, and liaise with Engineering for design coordination while ensuring work aligns with SOPs and the Safety and Health Management System. You will plan and schedule activities, optimise labour and materials, monitor quality and budgets, and mentor team members to raise performance. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in open cut coal mining, a civil or infrastructure background, relevant tickets, strong Queensland coal safety knowledge, and a current C class licence; 7 days on off roster, with FIFO or other options. Anglo American’s Capcoal Operations are seeking an experienced and motivated Infrastructure Supervisor to join the Lake Lindsay team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the safe planning, coordination and execution of infrastructure maintenance and improvement activities across the operation.
Reporting to the Superintendent, the successful applicant will lead a multi-skilled team, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while maintaining compliance with site procedures, legislative requirements and Anglo American values.
The successful applicant will also demonstrate knowledge of mining plant and equipment, with experience supervising mining equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Full-time permanent position based at Capcoal Mine, Middlemount.
7 days on, 7 days off day shift only rostered role.
