JOB PURPOSE
Maintain and administer highly available and secure data and voice networks, along with related computing environments. Ensure the availability, uptime, performance, and quality of network systems and services. Provide enterprise-wide support for complex network systems and interconnected technologies, requiring day-to-day support to maintain optimal performance and utilization of network devices and services.

Responsibilities also include involvement in troubleshooting (incident diagnosis and analysis) to identify and resolve network issues quickly and accurately. Ensure scheduled backups of all network devices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, B.Tech, B.E., MCA, B.Sc., or a related Information Systems discipline (mandatory).

  • IT Certifications CCNA and CCNP (mandatory).

  • Preferred certification in Cloud Networking Technologies (Azure, AWS, or OCI).

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE (Essential)

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in handling and troubleshooting network infrastructure, services, and network projects.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers, Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, and Cisco ISE.

  • Solid experience with Cloud Networking solutions in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Good knowledge and experience with Cisco, Dell, or similar SDN (Software Defined Networking) technologies.

  • Practical work experience with scripting and automation tools: Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins, and basic Linux.

  • Proven ability in troubleshooting, resolving critical issues, and working on Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).

  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols.

  • Expert-level knowledge in:

    • Static and Dynamic routing protocols

    • NAT, DMVPN, Multicast, and QoS concepts

  • Experience managing both data center and branch networks.

  • Willingness to work in 24/7 operations support, with a proactive attitude to extend support during peak or crisis situations.

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, DNS analysis tools, etc.

Experience / Knowledge (Preferred):

  • Experience in a banking environment (preferred).

  • Experience working with Dell Sonic switches (preferred).

  • Experience with Aruba wireless and ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) management (preferred).

  • Experience in managing WAN optimizers (preferably SilverPeak).

  • Experience working with Network Management System (NMS) tools such as SolarWinds (preferred).

  • Experience with BMC Remedy including incident and problem management (preferred).

  • Experience in operation and management of technical systems, network equipment, and storage area networks (preferred).
