Precision on the Évreux assembly floor
Day to day, you would steer, tune and start up automated production equipment and continuously optimize line performance to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee automated assembly cells, including robotic systems and the Robocop/FANUC platforms that form the core of the line, ensuring steady operation and rapid issue resolution.
You would assemble and/or fabricate tiny components while upholding strict quality, precision and safety standards, and you’ll perform delicate tasks that demand close attention to detail. Using automated vision and inspection systems such as Robocop, you’ll verify product conformity and help maintain process stability, while visually checking parts to spot and correct any deviations.
Maintaining quality and reliability means tracking performance indicators, yield and equipment health, diagnosing machine or robot faults, and contributing to fixes with support teams. You’ll implement series changes and program adjustments to sustain performance, and you’ll work closely with production, maintenance, quality, industrialization and engineering teams to push continuous improvement across the lines.

Tips to help you shine in this role
First, lead with your automation experience on highly automated lines and your work with micro-components. In your resume, put the strongest example of a line where you piloted, adjusted and sustained performance, ideally with a measurable uptick in uptime or yield tied to Robocop/FANUC or similar systems.
Second, show how you proved you can work the must-have skills. Describe a time you diagnosed a machine or robot fault, implemented a series change or program adjustment, and kept production on target while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Third, prep for interviews by outlining concrete cross-functional projects. Explain how you partnered with maintenance, quality, industrialization and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvements on automated lines.
Fourth, think up a smart question to ask. For example, inquire about the current continuous-improvement initiatives on the Évreux lines, the top performance indicators they track, or how they balance speed with precision on high-value components.
