SGS is hiring an Inspector Verifier to join its Auckland team, full-time and onsite at Mt Wellington with travel across the region. You’ll assist with inspections and verification work, upholding professional standards to protect SGS’s integrity. A background in agriculture or horticulture is preferred, but full training is provided for the right person. Key requirements include experience in agricultural inspections or a horticulture qualification, the ability to follow procedures and export regulations, knowledge of the MPI Assurance System Framework is advantageous, strong report writing and MS Office skills, a current NZ driver’s license, and fitness to lift heavy boxes. We are looking for an Inspector / Verifier to join our friendly and supportive team. This role will be based at our Mt Wellington office but will require travel across the Auckland region.
In this role you will assist with commercial inspections, verifying and surveying in the Auckland region, always ensuring that all tasks undertaken are performed in a truly professional manner so that the integrity of SGS is not compromised in any way. Ideally you will have a background in agriculture or horticulture, however for the right candidate full training will be provided.
