We are looking for talented and motivated Rotating Equipment professionals to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. Open positions include Lead Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer. The ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise in engineering design, familiarity with international codes and standards, and proven experience working on Oil & Gas projects.
Key Responsibilities (based on role):
Lead Design Engineer – I&C
Lead and supervise all Instrumentation & Control engineering design activities for Oil & Gas projects.
Review and approve I&C design deliverables including instrument datasheets, specifications, hookup drawings, control philosophies, and cause & effect diagrams.
Provide technical leadership to the engineering team and ensure coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, client requirements, and international codes/standards (ISA, IEC, IEEE, API).
Review vendor documents for instruments, control systems (DCS, ESD, F&G), and ensure technical alignment.
Manage schedules, resources, and ensure timely delivery of I&C design deliverables.
Senior Design Engineer – I&C
Prepare detailed I&C designs, specifications, datasheets, and reports.
Develop instrument index, I/O lists, control logic diagrams, and cable schedules.
Perform instrument sizing and selection (control valves, transmitters, analyzers, etc.).
Support the Lead Engineer in design reviews, vendor interactions, and client meetings.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications and safety requirements.
I&C Design Engineer
Prepare engineering deliverables including hookup drawings, loop diagrams, JB schedules, and wiring diagrams.
Assist in instrument selection, calculations, and requisition preparation.
Generate detailed cable routing and installation drawings.
Support the Senior/Lead Engineer in technical reviews and updates.
Ensure deliverables meet ADNOC and international standards.
I&C Designer
Prepare detailed I&C CAD drawings such as layouts, hook-ups, loop drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Develop 2D/3D models for instrument layouts, cable routing, and installation details.
Ensure drafting quality as per ADNOC and project standards.
Coordinate with engineers for revisions and updates in SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) or AutoCAD.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Lead Engineer: Minimum 12–15 years of experience in I & C engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Senior Engineer: Minimum 10–12 years of experience in I & C engineering engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Design Engineer Minimum 8-10 years of experience in I & C engineering engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
I & C Designer -Diploma in lntrumentation Engineering / Drafting.
5–10 years of experience in preparing electrical drawings and layouts.
Prior experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, ISO).
Excellent communication, vendor coordination, and teamwork skills.
